The 21st Annual Heritage Festival, sponsored by St. Andrew Orthodox Church, celebrates the cultural heritage of the Middle East and Eastern Europe with food, music and dance.
The Heritage Festival will be held Saturday, September 29 from noon to 8 PM and Sunday, September 30 from noon to 5 PM at the grounds of St. Andrew Orthodox Church, 1136 Higbee Mill Road, Lexington, Kentucky, located inside Man o' War near Clay's Mill Road.
The event includes activities for the entire family. Exotic foods from Lebanon, Palestine, Russia, Serbia and other Eastern European nations will be served. Middle Eastern and Slavic folk dance with performers in native costume is offered throughout the two-day event, as well as concerts of Byzantine and Slavonic liturgical music.
