Starts 10:00 am, Ramey Memorial Park, Salyersville KY. Community Day was formed for Magoffin County non-profit organizations to raise money in an event that is held in August each year. They generate money through activities and sell of food, etc. The Salyersville National Bank and Joy Mining Machinery partners to host the event. Entertainers perform throughout the day. Ticket prices are kept affordable. For $10.00 per ticket, children under 12 get in free - you can see Mountain Heart, Blue Highway, Charlie Sizemore, Fast Lane, Appalachian Rain, Rodney Marshall, the Good Ole Boy's Gospel Group, Dixie Bridge Band and Roy Howard. Purchase of ticket will also serve as an entry to win a good used automobile. Bring a lawn chair, enjoy some good music and help our local non-profit organizations at the same time.
