A 1 mile family run/walk held annually in collaboration with the Born to Run 5k and the Taste of Harrison County. $5 pre-registration fee; $10 the day of the event. The first 100 children and the first 100 adults receive t-shirts. This event is put on by the CHP Wellness Committee with Harrison Memorial Hospital as one of the major sponsors. The purpose of the race is to promote physical activity to all ages to help combat the rising rate of childhood obesity in Kentucky. |
