The Poke Sallet Festival in Harlan County, Kentucky runs June 4-7, 2009. Named after a plant native to the area, this unique festival brings together both young and old alike for four days of fun and festivities. Various activities include a craft contest, lots of music, a pet show, the Miss Harlan County Homecoming Pageant,a carnival, inflatables, bungee, vendors, great food, and much more.
