Voted one of the Top 25 Kentucky Downtown Festivals by the managers of the Kentucky Main Street Program in Feb. 2004! Held annually in Barbourville the 1st FULL week in October since 1948, the festival features a parade and a visit from the Cherokee Indians of North Carolina. A feast is held for the signing of the Cane Treaty between the Indians and Barbourville citizens. |
