Termed the only true folk festival in Kentucky. Take part in countryside wagon tours to a woodland waterfall. Walk to a working sorghum molasses mill, a Cherokee summerhouse and to a Civil War re-enactors encampment. Visit the Abraham Lincoln Museum or an Indian teepee filled with relics. Observe genealogical charts, heritage displays and demonstrations of old-time skills and antique machinery. Enjoy an old-fashioned bean supper with a live drama afterwards. A silent auction for one-of-a-kind handcrafted items, plus a special photo contest will be held. Pancake breakfast and Fox & Hound run Saturday morning; entertainment and craft shops available all day. Friday morning is an Award winning Educational Field Day for school children to truly experience the past. Admission charge is $2.00 for adults and $1.00 for children (free for preschool age children). Advance group admission tickets are available at a discount. Supper theatre tickets are $15.00 each and reservations are required.
